The complete portfolio, comprising one lithograph and 22 pochoir reproductions in colors after gouaches by the artist, with text by André Breton, 1959, the lithograph signed in pencil and numbered 227/250, the colophon also signed in ink and numbered, also signed in red ball-point pen by the author, from the total edition of 384, published by Pierre Matisse, New York, loose (as issued) and contained in the original paper wrappers and in the original linen-covered portfolio box (23 prints)
Condition
The prints are in good condition, the full sheets or full margins. A few of the text pages with tiny scattered foxing at the edges. The paper wrappers with pale discoloration and time-stain at the sheet edges. The portfolio box is stained and soiled and with wear at the corners.
