Description

  • Erich Heckel
  • Varietészene (Dube L 174)
  • lithograph
  • sheet 443 by 497 mm 17 1/2 by 19 5/8 in
Lithograph printed in colors, the color applied in a monotype manner, 1911, signed in pencil and dated, on wove paper

Condition

With full margins, the print is in good condition apart from pale uneven discoloration in the margins recto. The right corners are diagonally creased, and there are a few further soft handling creases in the margins. There is a printer's crease at top and the colored inks are bleeding through in areas to the verso (these are not condition defects, but inherent to the printing process).
