The print is in good condition. (There is surface soiling at the sheet edges.)

Catalogue Note

Ex coll. César de Hauke (cf. Janis 241)

The first and the second pull of this monotype were printed on one sheet of white laid paper.  The sheet was subsequently cut and the two impressions were presumably sold separately.   This is likely the second pull, illustrated on the right in Janis' and Adhémar's catalogues.
