The complete set, comprising 12 lithographs printed in colors, 1964, each signed in pencil and numbered 2/150 (Tribe of Levi numbered XCII/C) (there was also an edition of 75 in Roman numerals), on Arches wove paper, published by Editions Fernand Mourlot, Paris (12 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition with full margins and strong colors. Several sheets slightly toned (Simeon, Joseph, Issachar) and all with occasional soft handling creases at the sheet edges. Each verso with two remains of linen-hinges at top and one at bottom. Additional imperfections in individual sheets are as follows: Gad (M. CS 19): three areas of pale oxidation in the left margin, a horizontal handling crease along the upper sheet edge (approx. 5 in.) with a tiny associated tear at the right end, the verso with a band of discoloration at the lower sheet edge. Naphtali (M. CS 21): A 1 1/4 inch tear in the lower margin has been repaired with tape verso, with associated pale discoloration on the recto. Joseph (M. CS 22): An area of minor surface soiling at upper left margin.
