The portfolio, comprising seven of the eight lithographs printed in colors (lacking plate 3), 1963, each signed in pencil and numbered 5/115, also numbered on the justification page, with title, on Arches wove paper with the publisher's blindstamp, L'Oeuvre Gravée, Paris and Zurich, contained in the original paper boards with color lithograph, in the original black paper-covered portfolio box (7 prints)
Condition
The full sheets, in good condition apart from occasional minor surface soiling and wear at the extreme sheet edges, three plates with a small crease at a sheet edge. Plate 4 has a soft handling crease at lower right and traces of dust caught in the uneven grey lithographic ink at right. The half-title page with scattered foxing at the edges and stray graphite at upper right. The lithographic wrappers also foxed throughout. The portfolio box shows wear and soiling overall, the top separated from the spine at left, the black paper lifting at the corners.
