The portfolio, comprising 11 lithographs by Lautrec, the red and black lithograph cover designed by Henry-Gabriel Ibels, this set lacking the 11 lithographs by Ibels that originally completed the portfolio, 1893, from the edition of 500 (there was also a deluxe edition of 50 printed on Japan), published by L'Estampe Originale, Paris, on wove paper, each framed (12 prints)

Condition

The prints are in good condition, except for soft handling creases throughout, very pale light-stain, and additional discoloration and some further creasing at the sheet edges. The cover is darkened overall from exposure to light, with occasional foxing, the sheet edges with creasing and a few associated tiny tears, discoloration and surface soiling. In addition, ADR 22 Aristide Bruant with two tiny tears at the right sheet edge; ADR 24 Ducarre aux Ambassadeurs with a tiny repaired tear at center of lower sheet edge; and ADR 20 Edmée Lescot with a tiny tear at lower right sheet edge.
