Etching, 1883, the second (final) state, signed in pencil, titled and numbered 'no 4', one of 30 numbered impressions on Hollande laid paper (there were also 10 impressions on Japan)

Condition

The print is in good condition, with wide margins (slightly trimmed at right). There are two pale fox marks in the sky at upper right, with additional occasional fox marks in the margins and verso. One of the laid lines has weakened and slightly torn at the upper sheet edge, extending into the upper margin but not into the image, now backed with Japan. A shorter tear at the upper sheet edge at left (circa 1/2 inch) is also backed.
