Sotheby's New York, 2 October 1996, Sale 6888, Lot 320

Condition

This photograph, with the deep blacks typical of Parmelian prints, is in generally excellent condition. There is a barely visible 3/16-inch area around the periphery of the image that is slightly darker than the remainder of the margin. The light areas are not exceedingly warm. There is some soft vertical waviness in the paper. The wrappers are age-darkened and brittle, with 4 tape deposits in the corners on the reverse.
