Condition

This photograph, on paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good condition. In raking light, faint silvering is visible in the dark areas of the image. In high raking light, a few impressions and surface scratches (the longest measuring 2-and-1/2-inches) are visible in the central and lower left portion of the image. None of these disturbances appear to break the emulsion and do not detract from the overall fine quality of this print. There is very minor edge wear with attendant miniscule chipping. This print it mounted to green-paper-backed board. The paper label on the reverse of the mount is annotated in ink: '102 - 4 Ave / N. Y. C.' There are 2 abrasions to the top paper-ply on the reverse of the mount.
