Condition

These plates are in generally very good to excellent condition. Each is lightly soiled in the margins and on the reverse, and there is age-darkening along the margin edges. The corners are bumped. The title/plate list/introduction is lightly soiled, with age-darkening and rubbing at the edges, particularly at the upper edge, where there are small tears and losses. The folio boards have separated from their original spine and are in poor condition, with rubbing and losses at the extremities, and soiling and extensive scuffing. The most significant plates are present: 'Winter on Fifth Avenue,' 1893 'The Incoming Boat,' 1894 - The edges are rubbed, and there are small paper losses. 'A Winter Sky - Central Park,' 1894 'Reflections - Venice,' 1894 'The Old Mill,' 1894 'On the Seine, Near Paris,' 1894 - There is a small, light brown deposit of indeterminate nature in the lower margin. 'The Glow of Night, New York,' 1896 'Reflections: Night, New York,' 1897 'A Venetian Canal,' 1894 - The right margin edge is significantly age-darkened and creased, and there are several small tears. These do not affect the image in any way. 'Wet Day on the Boulevard,' 1894 Lacking are 'The Letter Box' and 'Scurrying Home.'
