the photographer's '75, Boulevard Montparnasse Paris 6e' copyright studio stamp (Of Paris and New York, Paris stamp #2) on the reverse, 1926

Condition

This photograph, on double-weight paper with a surface sheen, is in generally very good to excellent condition. In high raking light, some silvering is visible primarily in the dark areas of the print. There is a 1/2-inch sharp handling crease at the lower edge of the image. Upon close examination, a few small, very soft handling creases are visible overall. The tip of the upper right corner is creased, and there is a tiny crease that breaks the emulsion at the left edge of the print. When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
