Condition
This ferrotyped print, on medium-weight paper, is in generally very good condition. In raking light, faint scuffing and a few small deposits of original retouching are visible. In the lower right quadrant of the image, there is a pen-point-sized starburst-shaped disturbance which breaks the emulsion unevenly. The print corners are creased to varying degrees. The lower right corner is creased twice, which breaks the emulsion; the creases appear to have been retouched.
The photographer's studio stamp on the reverse of the print reads as follows: '81, Rue Du Faubourg St-Jacques, Paris XIV Téléph.: Port-Royal 23-41.' The reverse is numbered '1576' in pencil in an unidentified hand.
When examined under ultraviolet light, this print does not appear to fluoresce.
