Condition

The prints in gernerally very good condition, with no emulsion loss or tears. They have a semi-glossy surface. The corners slightly bumped in the margin away from the images. Two prints with very soft diagonal folds (approx. 15 cm) and bumped (approx. 8mm) at the upper edge near the upper left corner. One print with residue of a strip of adhesive tape (approx. 3,5 cm) at the upper edge in the margin away from the image. The accompanying publication with minor traces of age and use. The pages not cut.

Figure majeure de l'art conceptuel, Marcel Broodthaers trouve son style entre dadaïsme et surréalisme, humour et sarcasme social. Les quatre photographies sont des film stills de son film du même titre, également illustrées dans la publication jointe à ce lot, dans lequel l'artiste semble proposer une analyse subtile basée sur des oppositions formelles et historiques qui marquent la division entre XIXe et XXe siècle, la peinture et la photographie.
