Catalogue Note
La série Landscape with a Corpse (Paysage avec un Cadavre), créée par Izima Kaoru dès 1999, met en scène le meurtre de jeunes femmes. Le photographe offre à des actrices ou des modèles la possibilité de mettre en scène leur propre mort. Ces compositions reflètent les idées et fantasmes de ces femmes, en mettant à leur disposition les artifices du monde de la mode – maquillage, vêtements de marque, poses, éclairage – créant ainsi des vanités contemporaines.
