In overall good condition. Legible marks. The major part in oak fitted case, knives in another case and some in fabric cases. On knives, stains on steel blades, some mother-of-pearl handles with cracks and chips. The box with dents and scratches, the inside in poor condition. The knives case to be refixed on one side. Very nice mother-of-pearl on knives, all handles engraved with the same arms than forks and knives. The knives by Cardeilhac. The fruit knives blades engraved with vines and stamped Cardeilhac. One handle with arms slightly erased. Cheese knives steel blades also stamped Cardeilhac. The silver handled table knives by Puiforcat with inoxidised blades. These arms are probably Italian. Wood case and knives case stamped CARDEILHAC 91 rue de Rivoli. Very nice and complete set.
