rectangulaire, le couvercle serti d'un panneau en pietra dura de Florence décoré de jasmin et myosotis sur un fond noir en marbre belge, le fond ciselé de fleurs, fruits et autres ornements, bordé d'émail bleu, le bord insculpé de poinçons de prestige russes et numéroté : 122

Condition
enamel losses to urns on corners, lid has been badly pinned causing discolouration of gold around the pins. the outer husk garland rim on lid is possibly of later origin. The lid lining has small dents and is loose. Interior of base also slightly dented. The prestige marks include a signature for Keibel, assaymaster and St Petersburg marks.
