the guards and sticks pierced, gilt and silvered with musicians and musical trophies, the leaf painted with cupids attending a country festival, the reverse with a gallant scene, later green paste rivet

Condition

some fading of gilding and in particular oxydisation of silvering on sticks and guards, some split and repairs to bottom edge of leaf and several splits to top edge. Slight discolouring to leaf where it has been glued to guards
