Condition
In overall good condition. Some oxydation spots. Traces of resoldering at the wings attachs. Glass in overall good condition. Legible mark inside mill door.
It has been suggested that this windmill cup may be early 18th century (reference Wim Nyss, European silver windmill and watermill cups, 2012). However, the author has confirmed that the Zieriksee pelican maker's mark for the early 18th century has not been compared with the mark on this piece.
