Catalogue Note
Louis-Alexandre Berthier (1753-1815), major général de la Garde Nationale protégea la famille royale en 1789. Chef d'état-major de l'armée d'Italie en 1796, il s'empare de Rome en 1798 et procéda à l'arrestation du pape Pie VI.
