Condition
In overall excellent condition. The external canvas cover with some stains. Fully marked.
According to the owner's family, the letters on cover stand as follows: O for Olga, B for Baden, B for Baden, C for Cecilia, A for Augusta, L for Leopold, M for Michel so this monogram could also be that of Olga von Baden, daughter of Duke Leopold, born in 1839 who married in 1857 Michael Nicolaievitch, 4th son of Tsar Nicolas I.

La Grande-Duchesse Olga Nicolaievna (1822-1892), fille du tsar Nicolas I, épouse en 1846 le roi Charles I de Wurtemberg (1823-1891). Il s'agit très probablement d'un cadeau reçu à l'occasion de son mariage.
