Unlined. there is overall very good retention of the paint surface with nice, thick impasto. ultraviolet light shows just a few small retouches at left side, on back of figure at left foreground with his back to viewer, and a few others scattered.
In a carved and gilt wood frame with some minor losses to gilding.
