Fassung mit Correkturen f. zweiten Druck, on smooth wove paper
Condition
The image printed to the edge of sheet at top left edge as usual and with margins at other sides, in good condition, the colours fresh, pale paper discoloration in the margins, occasional short nicks at lower left and right edges of sheet, occasional inobtrusive creases along extreme outer edges of sheet, uneven paper discoloration verso, glued (?) to back board at upper corners verso, framed.

Catalogue Note
Felixmüller developed the shape of the gaunt shoulders showing the collar bone in the first state to a rounder version in the second state. He then went back to rework only a few impressions of his first state where he remodelled the shoulders extensively with colour crayon directly on the original lithograph.
