Condition
The physical panel is in very good condition. It is flat, stable, uncradled, and has been prepared with animal hair on the reverse. The paint layer is in overall good condition. UV light confirms the favorable state of paint preservation. A few small retouches are scattered, for instance on the ground lower center, and in the head of the standing male at left. Most of these retouches are for reinforcement and do not repair any major losses. May be hung as is. In a carved giltwood frame with a loss in the lower right corner and upper right corner.
