Condition
The canvases have recently been sympathetically relined. Each paint surface is in an excellent state of preservation. On both there are some very fine stretcher marks evident. In the former there are just a handful of tiny restorations in the centere of the sky just above the horizon, and in the latter a group of small retouchings to the lower right reaches of the sky.
Each is offered in an 18th century style gilt frame.
