Condition
The stable support consists of two horizontal panel bevelled on all bar the lower edge. The paint surface is secure and appears to be in good condition, although a little rubbed, under a dirty varnish. Inspection under UV light reveals an area of retouching centre left to the group of house and lower right in the foreground as well as scattered more minor work elsewhere.
Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frame in good condition.
