Condition
The canvas has quite a firm relining which has flattened the paint surface a little. To the naked eye the paint surface appears in good and clean condition, and structually sound. The canvas weave is slightly visible due to the relining, for example in the darker tones where the paint surface appears a little pressed. Inspection under UV light reveals scattered retouchings throughout the sky. These are localised and not concentrated in large patches. Offered in a black modern frame in good condition.
