- the former signed lower left: J Bouttats and indistinctly dated(?)
the latter signed lower centre: J Bouttats a pair, both oil on canvas
- a pair, 27¾in by 34in,

Condition
The canvas has been relined. The paint surface is secure and generally well preserved, if a little thin in the darker pigments and under a slightly patchy varnish which impedes thorough inspection under UV light although some old scattered retouching work is just about discernible.
Offered in a gilt wood and plaster frae in good condition.
