Condition
The canvas has a firm relining which has flattened the paint surface so that throughout the canvas the red ground is visible underneath an even varnish.
Inspection under UV light reveals some scattered retouchings throughout, a small approx. 3 by 4 cm. restored damage to the right of San Giorgio Maggiore and some strengthening to the boat lower right and along the margins.
Offered unframed.
