Condition

The support consists of several horizontal oak panels; two of the joins are supported on the reverse by a series of small bars. Beneath the lower most join is a old surface split approx 20cm in length which has been filled and restored. The painting has been recently restored and revarnished. There are some areas of wear, mostly in the darker regions of the background and staffage. There are scattered restorations and retouchings throughout.
