Condition

Window mounted. Light stains in the top corners, verso, from old mounting. Small round stain top centre. A few other small brown marks, mainly top right and bottom left. Some very light creases in the paper. Otherwise good condition.

It seems perfectly possible that this drawing could have been made by Jacob Toorenvliet's son and pupil, Abraham the Younger, at the age of only fifteen; stylistically it is very dependent on the works of the father.
