Catalogue Note

In the catalogue of his collection, Georges Encil refers to a quote by Wille which gives a detailed description of the time he and his son spent in Vernon.  Wille's admiration for the landscape is evident as he writes that 'practically everything [is] worthy of being drawn.  This countryside is charming for this.'1
