A: Hinged to modern mount with strip of paper at top edge; bottom right corner creased and some small tears at bottom edge in that corner; small loss of ink just below top left corner
B: Hinged to modern mount with strip of paper at top edge; top left corner slightly torn; small brown stain in rose in her hand; otherwise good condition, paper strong

These are characteristic of Huet's drawing style, and while still including sheep, represent a less familiar subject matter. L'an 3 was 1794/95 in the Revolutionary calendar, l'an 4 was 1795/96.
