Condition

Loosely hinged to the mount at the upper margin. The sheet is quite fragile. There are a number of creases throughout. There is a vertical crease/tear running vertically down the middle of the sheet and on the verso this has been supported, streghtened by a strip of paper. There are other areas, visible on the verso, where strips of paper have been added for support. There is scattered foxing and light brown staining, recto. The pen and ink and wash remain fresh and strong. Sold in a simple dark wood frame.
