Condition
The colours in this work have been well preserved and although some of the more delicate watercolour pigments may have faded very slightly, in general, the work remains bold and strong. At the extreme upper and right hand edge of the sheet the paper has stained very slightly. This is associated with the current acidic mount. There is also a very small area of surface dirt visible within the sky. There is evidence of some extremely minor rubbing to the sheet within the water, located in the lower section of the composition.
