Condition
The colours have survived well. There is a small rubbed area located on the African servant's waist, this has caused very minor pigment loss. The sheet has not been laid down, it is instead attached to the backboard at all four corners. At the bottom left hand edge of the sheet there are two score marks, where the paper has been cut.
