From the so-called Sagredo album (with numberings, L.2103a: P.O. no:76 (verso), and P.O. no.176 (on old backing),
the provenance of which possibly as follows:
Doge Nicolò Sagredo, Venice, by circa 1654;
his brother, Stefano Sagredo, Venice;
his nephew, Zaccaria Sagredo, Venice;
his wife, Cecilia Sagredo, until sold, circa 1743;
bears another unidentified collector's mark, verso (not in Lugt)
Condition
Detached from old Sagredo-Borghese album page and rehinged to it with Japan paper. repaired tear towards lower right. Various paint stains, verso, some showing through in places, and some fairly light foxing. The sheet slightly irregularly cut to the bottom. Light diagonal fold, top right corner. Paper and wash otherwise good and fresh.
