Description

  • Still life of flowers in a blue decorative vase with a bird perched beside on a ledge
  • Gouache and watercolour on vellum within black framing lines

Condition

Overall in fairly good condition. The sheet has buckled, due to the nature of the vellum support. There are brown stains located at the four corners and there is a larger stain at the upper margin in the centre, this may be caused by the sheet being previously glued down, marks visible on the verso. The colours remain fresh. Sold in a small decorated, gilded frame.
