signed by the composer on the image ("Johs Brahms"), the two-bar autograph musical quotation from the beginning of the third movement Quartet notated on a single hand-drawn stave on the reverse of the image, the quotation followed by an autograph inscription ("Hrn. Josef Wirth dem Jüngeren!"), by C. Brasch of Berlin, 15 x 10.8cm, later manuscript annotation below that of Brahms ("25.I.1895. oben: Vaters Bratschensolo aus Brahms, Quintett G dur Opus 111"), Berlin, 1891, a few tiny scratches to the image
