Catalogue Note

A fascinating association copy, inscribed and with a drawing of a dove by Picasso to the Russian pianist Andrei Mytnik, dated Paris 5.3.55, when Mytnik and the violinist Leonid Kogan performed together in Paris; apparently Picasso also inscribed a copy for Kogan. Entertainingly, Picasso has signed his name in cyrillic letters.
