folio (337 x 241mm.), dedication to the King and Queen of the Two Sicilies printed in gold, one full-page chromolithographed illustration, Chinese script printed on yellow paper and mounted, lithographed map in two states, uncoloured and coloured, one leaf of music printed in blue and brown, six colour-printed xylographic plates after Aimé Chenavard, contemporary crimson morocco gilt, covers with the arms of the duc de Bourbon, prince de Condé [Olivier 2637, fer 2] enclosed by gilt rules with elaborate corner-pieces, outer dentelle and roll-tool floral border, flat spine with three ornately-tooled panels, gilt turn-ins, blue watered silk endpapers, modern cloth box, occasional light spotting, joints very slightly worn, corners slightly scuffed
