the case of mahogany, the front edge with a central applied gilt metal plaque pieced and carved with a musical trophy flanked by further applied gilt metal plaques with trumpets linked by ribbons and with gilt metal lyres on each end, the maple faciaboard with satinwood crossbanding and ebony and boxwood stringing, the five octave keyboard, FF to f3, with ivory naturals and ebony accidentals, double action with overdampers, mahogany dust cover, two knee levers controlling buff and damper lift, raised on four turned tapering legs with engine-turned gilt metal collars
