A bold autograph musical quotation from one of Tchaikovsky's most popular works, the great Serenade in C for Strings, Op.48, his heartfelt homage to Mozart, composed in 1880. The 9th of March 1889 saw the composer conduct the work at a concert in the New Theatre, Geneva.
