  • Executed in 1968, the present work is one of 4 artist's proofs aside from the edition of 26. These 4 proofs appear to be hand-worked to a greater degree than those in the standard edition of 26.

Condition

Full margins, pale mount staining. There is a small, 6cm. faint abrasion to the centre of the left margin, with associated skinning. There is a small spot of residue at the extreme lower right corner and minor scuff on the margin outside of the image, not visible in the present mount. There is further, occasional pale and very slight staining at the lower left-corner, again not visible in the present mount. There is a very slight fleck of loss to the applied white pigment dotted towards the centre of the composition, visible upon very close inspection. This excepting the work appears in very good condition. Housed behind glass in a thin metal frame and set within a cream mount.
