Condition
Original canvas, transfer squares are visible throughout. The canvas is slightly uneven in the top right hand corner.
A single pin-hole is apparent to the upper centre of the composition, just below the central white wave; three pin-holes running vertically through the blue water in the upper right hand quadrant and three further holes running diagonally in the top left corner just above the left of the far left figure.
There is very minor surface dirt and matter to the canvas, with a tiny fleck of possible loss to the upper left shoulder of the middle figure. This excepting the work appears to be in very good condition.
Ultraviolet light reveals areas of fluorescence throughout which appear in keeping with the artist's technique and do not suggest retouching.
Unframed.
