Condition

The material is sound with the bottom and top edge unevenly hemmed as to allow hanging. There is a small pin hole mark to the bottom right corner, and two very tiny, minor tears to the fabric in the top hanging loop. Elsewhere there are one or two tiny minor areas of ware, and very small resultant holes in line with a previous folding of the fabric. These are only visible upon very close inspection of the work. There is staining to the material, visible in a slight browning most apparent to the bottom half, and in more obvious spots and flecks elsewhere. The ink itself appears unfaded. This excepting the work appears to be in good, stable condition. Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions regarding the present lot.
