London, Warwick Arts Trust, Prunella Clough: New Paintings 1979-1982, April - May 1982, cat. no.27, illustrated.
Condition
Original canvas.
The work is float-mounted with visible edges displaying signs of previous framing. There is an area of very fine craquelure to the white pigment in the upper right hand corner. There is also a very small area of paint separation to the red band in the extreme bottom left hand corner.
Ultraviolet light reveals two tiny flecks of florescence and probable retouching to the extreme edge of the centre of the left and right hand edges. There are other areas of florescence, but these do not appear to be retouching, and rather are the artist's pigments.
Housed behind glass in a thin banded wooden frame and float-mounted against a white background.
