Condition
Unexamined outside of frame.
The sheet appears adhered at the corners and in other areas to the extreme edge of the work, but does not appear fully laid down.
Eight pin holes appear at all four corners as well as to the centre of each edge. The sheet is deckled on all four edges, most noticeably along the extreme left hand edge. There are further very minor instances of scuffing to the top left and bottom right hand corners. Minor areas of discolouration appear in the top right and top left corners, presumably in line with a previous, acidic mounting. This excepting the work appears to be in very good , original condition.
Housed behind glass in a thin, dark-wood frame and float-mounted against an off-white mount. Ready to hang.
Please telephone the department on +44 (0) 207 293 6424 if you have any questions about the present work.
