Original canvas. There is a very slight undulation in the upper left corner. There are very fine, vertical cracks scattered across the surface to the thick lines of horizontal white paint. There is a fine line of paint separation to the horizontal white pigment, located in the lower left quadrant between the blue and grey horizontal lines, which appears to have occured while the paint was drying. Under ultraviolet light there are two small spots of retouching located on the rim of the upper edge, along the left side.
