Condition
The sheet is sound is not laid down. The sheet is undulating across the surface and there is an old pen knife score in the upper right corner.
The sheet may be slightly discoloured and there are one or two minor spots of staining, but generally the work is in good original condition.
Held under glass in a painted and gilt composition frame with a burlap inset.

The present scene depicts a church in Gloucestershire, near Cirencester. Founded in the early twelfth century, the church has numerous features from the following four hundred years, and was restored in 1880.
