The painting is in good condition overall, as is the canvas, except with a discreet undulation on the upper left (brown shaded area). There are minor wear and handling around the edges, but paint layers are well-preserved. There is indication of delicate craquelures on the face of the figure seated (on the right), along with a miniscule paint loss on the banana, which can only be seen upon close observation. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals retouching on the basket (lower right). Framed.
